H. Sprague Taveau IV, D.O., M.B.A., F.A.C.O.F.P

Dr. Taveau, the founder of Central Texas Wound Healing Associates, has more than 30 years of experience working in the medical field. While a member of the United States Armed Forces, Dr. Taveau was awarded the Silver Star and Legion of Merit medals from the U.S. Army among many other awards and decorations. He served as Division Surgeon both overseas and state side, and received the special honor of Order of Military Medical Merit. Since retiring from the Armed Forces, Dr. Taveau has dedicated his career to emergency medicine with an emphasis on wound care and hyperbaric medicine. Dr. Taveau and his wife Jean made their home in Texas in 1991 and enjoy spending time with their four children and.
